Western Australia


Galaxy's primary focus is lithium exploration with tantalum as a secondary product. The Company holds a portfolio of projects in Western Australia at various stages of development. Other commodities in Galaxy's Western Australia portfolio include base metals (copper-gold, nickel), gold, iron ore, rare earths and uranium.

Ponton, Shoemaker, Connolly and Boxwood Hill are all greenfields targets believed by the Galaxy’s Board to be in prospective geological locations. The Mt Cattlin project has a throughput capacity of one million tonnes per annum (tpa) with lithium oxide concentrate production of 137,000 tpa and 56,000 lbs pa of contained tantalum (TA2O5).

Galaxy holds a 20% interest in the Shoemaker Project under a joint venture with General Mining Corporation Ltd.
